How we list

Where the facts come from, and how each list is put in order.

Where the facts come from

Every listing is read from the crew's own website. Each profile says which site it came from and the date it was read. We do not call, survey or score anyone, and we show no reviews or star ratings.

What we check

A machine check confirms that a listing is a real crew in this field, with an office in a US city. Some listings then get a second check by a reviewer, who compares the record with the website again. Those carry a small mark, "Second check passed", and a date on the profile.

What we leave out

We do not show email addresses, personal phone numbers, social media pages, licence numbers of individuals, or prize claims. A contractor's own licence number appears only where the business lists it on its website.

How lists are ordered

Crews with a second check come first, then crews with more of their details listed (services, people named, hours, languages, a booking link, free estimate known, year founded), then A to Z. Nobody pays to be listed or to move.

Fix or remove a listing

If a listing is wrong, or you do not want it here, you can ask for a fix or removal.
